After the repose of her parents when she was twenty years old, Saint Paraskevi gave all of her belongings to the poor. She rejected many marriage proposals, for she was very beautiful and wise, and she was Tonsured a Nun and dedicated her virginity to her beloved Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
