The Life of Saint Theodore: There appeared to him the Lord, saying, “Take courage, my servant Theodore, because I am with you.”…

Prayers

Apolytikion: Great are the achievements of faith! In the fountain of flame, as by the water of rest, the Holy Martyr Theodore rejoiced; for having been made a whole-burnt offering in the fire, he was offered as sweet bread unto the Trinity. By his Prayers, O Christ God, save our Souls.

Kontakion: Having received the Faith of Christ in thy heart as a breastplate, thou didst trample upon the enemy hosts, O Much-Suffering Champion; and thou hast been Crowned eternally with a Heavenly Crown, since thou art invincible.

Akathist Hymn to Saint Theodore Tyron and Saint Theodore Stratelates

Kontakion: The famed Great Martyrs of the faith, and the joyous lights that noetically beautify the firmament, as true members of the Church, and richly pouring forth rivers of Miracles, Saints Theodore, O faithful, let us praise, as we cry out to them: Rejoice, O pair chosen by God.
